Five Keys: Cavaliers vs. Blazers ‑ Jan. 28, 2015
1 / 5In last year’s heartbreaker at The Q, Lillard’s squad won the game, but he and Kyrie had a fantastic duel in closing seconds. Irving scored nine points in under 90 seconds and finished with 25 points and 10 assists, but the Blazers won. Lillard was a Cav-Killer in the first game of this year’s series, scoring a game-high 27 points (going 5-of-10 from deep) at the MODA Center in early November. As we draw closer to All-Star nods, Kyrie is making a strong case on both ends of the floor, including his season-high-tying 38-point performance on Tuesday and wins over Chris Paul, Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook. But Lillard is averaging 30.3 points, 7.3 assists and 6.6 boards against the Cavs over the last three and he’s been relaxing in a hotel room over the last few days. This could be a wild one.
