The Cavaliers will thank fans for another year of tremendous support at the team’s last home game of the regular season when they take on the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, April 16th, at 7:00 p.m. On Fan Appreciation Night presented by hhgregg the Cavaliers will give away over $1 million in prizes that will include a new car courtesy of Kia, an hhgregg home entertainment system, a free year of Time Warner Cable HDTV Cable, a chance to score $30,000 from Alltel and more. Every fan attending the game will get something!
Upon arrival inside The Q, every fan will receive a Cavaliers gift bag and then the giving will go on all night long! Prize Patrols will disperse an incredible assortment of great prizes that will include autographed Cavs memorabilia, hundreds of local retailer gift certificates, thousands of t-shirts, and tickets to a variety of events and attractions.
Special contests throughout the game will give fans the chance to win prizes including: free HDTV cable service for a year from Time Warner, a Danny Vegh’s pool table, a Hoover vacuum cleaner, a Dell laptop and a trip to Miami, Florida courtesy of Continental Airlines. During halftime, the Cavs will give away two of the night’s BIGGEST prizes - a lucky fan will win a brand new 2008 Kia Spectra 5 and another will participate in an on-court shooting contest for a chance to win up to $30,000, courtesy of Alltel Wireless.
Immediately following the game at center court, the Cavs players will literally take the Shirts Off Their Backs and Shoes Off Their Feet and give them to 30 lucky fans. Fifteen fans will receive a game-worn jersey and 15 will receive a pair of game-worn shoes.
The Cavaliers will also express appreciation to loyal fans that are not able to attend the game. All subscribers to Cavaliers Insider, the team’s official free email newsletter, will have the chance to win a variety of prizes. Fans who aren’t already “Insiders” can sign up by CLICKING HERE.
