Cavaliers Host Official NBA Draft Lottery Party at Cadillac Ranch Tuesday, May 17th

CLEVELAND, OH - May 12, 2011 - The Cadillac Ranch will be the place for Cavs fans to get together on Tuesday, May 17th starting at 7:00 p.m. to watch how the ping pong balls will bounce in the 2011 NBA Draft Lottery! Everyone is invited to join the Cavs broadcast team of Fred McLeod, with legends Austin Carr and Campy Russell as they share their expert insights and commentary while the Cavs game entertainment troops perform, mix and mingle with fans.

A fun-filled night of festivities at the Official Cavaliers 2011 NBA Draft Lottery Viewing Party at Cadillac Ranch will have all TV’s tuned to live coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery Show on ESPN starting at 8:00 p.m. to find out when the Cavaliers will pick in the NBA Draft on June 23rd. The Cavs currently have two Lottery picks in the upcoming 2011 NBA Draft, plus two second round picks. The Lottery drawing on May 17th will determine which specific two Lottery picks the team receives. The Cavs have the second most ping pong ball combinations in the Lottery with 227 (out of 1,000 total combinations used in the Lottery). This represents 199 combinations obtained via their own pick, plus an additional 28 combinations with the Lottery pick acquired from the Clippers as part of the deal made with the Clippers at the trade deadline this season.

Fans in attendance will receive an NBA Lottery Fact Card and will have the chance to participate in contests and giveaways to win prizes. Cavs in-game host Ahmaad, the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, mascots Moondog and Sir C.C. will all be there to entertain and hang out with fans as they watch the outcome of the 2011 NBA Lottery together.
