Fans that vote will automatically be registered to win a grand prize that includes tickets to a Cavaliers game and a meet and greet with the Cavalier Girls. Every fan that votes will automatically be entered to win:
- Four tickets to a Cavaliers 2010-11 regular season game
- Four autographed Cavalier Girl Calendars
- A photo taken with the Cavalier Girls on center court to be posted on cavs.com
Ten runner-up winners will each win an autographed Cavalier Girl Calendar.
Voters can earn an extra entry to the contest by retweeting the calendar voting post sent out by @Cavs or @CavalierGirls including which Cavalier Girl they voted for. Fans can also earn an extra entry by posting who got their vote on the Cavs or Cavalier Girls Facebook page under the designated thread.
The 14-month calendar (November 2010 - December 2011) was shot at a private residence in Aurora, Ohio. Each month shows off a Cavalier Girl photographed in stunning designer bathing suits on a high-gloss poster-like page. The calendar also includes a photograph of the entire Cavalier Girls dance team.
Once the votes have been tallied, fans are invited to the official unveiling party at The Barley House on November 6th at 7:00 p.m., when the 2010-11 Calendar Cover will be announced!
The Cavalier Girls Calendar will be available for purchase on November 6th at the newly renovated Cavs Team Shop and at cavs.com. All net proceeds benefit the Cavaliers Youth Fund, a fund of the McCormick Foundation.
