Cavalier Girl Amanda Voted to First-Ever NBA All-Star Dance Team

CLEVELAND, Jan. 25th - Over 6.5 million page views were registered by fans on for the selection of the first-ever NBA All-Star Dance Team, comprised of one dancer from each of the NBA’s 30 teams. Cavalier Girl Amanda was selected to represent the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This elite cast of America’s top NBA dance professionals will perform during fan events in Las Vegas including the All-Star Game and the All-Star Jam Session. While in the City of Lights, the dancers will sport exclusive adidas gear, including specially designed Eastern and Western Conference All-Star jerseys.

Amanda has been a member of the Cavalier Girls since the dance team’s inaugural year during the 2003-2004 season. The four-year veteran resides in Westlake and has extended her role to not only dancing but also sewing some of the team’s performance outfits.

“I am thrilled to be a part of All-Star history,” Amanda said. “I am proud to have earned a spot on the first-ever dance team, and I’m looking forward to getting to know my 29 new teammates and performing for such a huge audience.”

The NBA All-Star Game airs live on Sunday, February 18th on TNT, ESPN Radio, and in 215 countries and territories.
