Anderson Varejao Bobblehead Night!

CLEVELAND, OH - March 4, 2011 - Known for his rigorous and passionate style of play, the Cavaliers favorite South American sensation, Anderson Varejao, finally has his own bobblehead! Tuesday, March 8th is Anderson Varejao Bobblehead Night, presented by Discount Drug Mart, as the Cavs take on the Golden State Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Every fan in attendance will receive the debut “Wild Thing” bobblehead, sporting the team’s deep wine jersey and a bright gold sweatband to hold back his trademark curls.

Additionally, as part of the Anderson Brazil Bobblehead Sweepstakes, 17 lucky fans will be randomly selected to receive Anderson’s limited collector’s edition Brazil bobblehead, dressed in the national colors of green and yellow to embrace Varejao’s native roots! Each Brazil bobblehead is numbered 1-17 on the bottom of its base and will be presented in a display case with stickers to certify authenticity. Tickets are available for the Cavs vs. Golden State March 8th game by calling 800-820-CAVS (2287), or at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office and at all northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart locations. (Tickets purchased by phone or at will be delivered through Flash Seats, the primary method of ticketing for the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena).

Tuesday’s matchup is one of four remaining McFamily Nights this season, offering families an affordable way to cheer on the Wine & Gold at The Q! The McFamily Night package includes four Cavs tickets in “Loudville”, an energizing community of spirited Cavs fans, and vouchers good for four McDonald’s value meals starting as low as $80 – or $20 per person, for a $44 savings.

McFamily Night packages can be purchased by calling 800-820-CAVS, visiting or by stopping by the Quicken Loans Arena main ticket office (up until 2 hours prior to tip-off).
