Mike (Westlake): Who's your favorite player in the NBA besides yourself?
Sasha Pavlovic: I don't really have a favorite player in the NBA right now. It's tough to be a fan of another player when you are in the NBA playing against them.
Jim (Cleveland): You are a great outside shooter but recently I have noticed a improvement in your inside game! What have you been doing to strengthen your game?
Sasha Pavlovic: Nothing too different, I used to play like that in Europe. I try to show everyone what I can do on the floor.
Missi (Pittsburgh, PA): What inspired you to become a professional basketball player?
Sasha Pavlovic: My Dad was a basketball player in my country. That's why I started to play basketball.
(Rocky River): Sasha,
why do they call you Sasha but, on the Cavaliers Official Website when you click players it says your name is Alexsander Pavlovic?
Sasha Pavlovic: My first name is Aleksandar, but in my country, they call everyone with the first name Aleksandar "Sasha".
A.G. (Parma): What city do you like better Cleveland or Salt Lake City?
Sasha Pavlovic: I like Cleveland better.
Matt (Ashtabula): What do you usually do on your day off?
Sasha Pavlovic: Nothing special. Watching T.V. or movies with my girlfriend. Maybe drive around the city and that is all.
Orlando: Where do you and the rest of the players train during the summer?
Sasha Pavlovic: I go back home by myself and train there.
Craig (Bolivar,OH): Sasha, how is the game of basketball similar and different here compared to at home in Serbia? By the way, I enjoy watching you play and wish you the best of luck throughout the rest of the season.
Sasha Pavlovic: Thanks. The two games are totally different. Here in the U.S.A., it's a quicker game involving more strength. Over there the game is much slower.
Keith (Mentor): Who's been your toughest opponent to play defense against this season?
Sasha Pavlovic: Kobe Bryant.
Josh (Canton): What made you choose the number 3?
Sasha Pavlovic: I like that number. When I was younger, i always wanted to wear it, but they only had numbers 4-15, so now I have a chance to wear that number.
khaled (Besancon, FRANCE): Hi Sasha, I've enjoyed your game a lot this season.
Do you still miss home, or have you already adapted 100% to the American lifestyle?
Sasha Pavlovic: I adapted, but I miss home a little bit. This is my job and I can't think about that now.
LB, Wellington, OH: Who is your best friend on the team and why?
Sasha Pavlovic: Everybody really. I am a little closer to the other European guys.
Katherine (Chagrin): Hey Sasha. Well i am a huge fan of the team, have been for several years now and I just want to say that you all are progressing phenomenally. How does it feel to have played very little minutes before Ira Newble got injured, and then all of a sudden be put in as a starter? Did you feel ready/pressured? How do you think Silas will play you once Ira recovers? Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Sasha Pavlovic: It was hard in the beginning since I didn't play. I was excited at the chance to start. I proved to the Coach I could play. I am still going to work hard and take my minutes as they come.
Ted Fisher (Cleveland): Do you play any other sports?
Sasha Pavlovic: No, I never played other sports.
Eric (Copley): What is your favorite food?
Sasha Pavlovic: Fast food, but I don't eat a lot of that!
Dr.G (Erie, PA) : Sasha, are you more comfortable at the 2 or the 3?
Sasha Pavlovic: I'm comfortable at both positions. My job is to play the best I can.
Charles Crunk (Columbus, Ohio): How much influence has LeBron James had on your overall game? Being an avid fan, I can see similarities in your overall game.
Sasha Pavlovic: Yes, a little bit. He makes me better in practices.
Tyler Currington(Green): What is the most points you have ever scored in a game?
Sasha Pavlovic: In Europe, when I was 16, I scored 63 points once. Thanks for coming to today's chat, I hope to see you at a game soon!
