You asked.....so the dog has responded.

Here are the selected Questions from Moondog's mailbox....straight from his inbox to your screen. If you have a question....drop the dog a line and maybe someday you will be as famous as these folks.

Johnson Riggs from Columbus asks: Who are your favorite dancers?

Moondog: Finally a question I can really sink my teeth into, one I can ponder for hours and consider every option. One I can research and discuss with others until I feel like I have a well considered decision that I will be comfortable with (at least until I ponder it again).

After much thought, and assuming that you mean dancers at The Q, I have come to the following decision.

My favorite dancer is Chelsea from the Scream Team. What’s not to love about the Scream Team’s fiery red-head?

Also in the running for the dog’s favorite dancers would be Nicole (Cavalier Girl) and Kellie (Scream Team). I will think more about this and let you know if I make any changes.

Ryan from Broadview Hts OH asks: Can you do your dunks more often? They are so cool and when you do can you do more dunking than dancing? Tell this to the owner can he play crazy train for the starting lineup song the one you played last year. And can you were your home jersey a lot more? Thank you. I love you. You are so cool.

Moondog: Thanks for the great note. I will try to dunk more often, I didn’t know you liked it so much. Heavier on the dunking….lighter on the dancing. Got it.

As for Crazy Train, I think we finally settled on an intro song….which is pretty sweet. I like Crazy Train too, but whatever gets the fans going I am all for.

Finally, the jerseys. I actually don’t like the home white jersey much (on me). I wear it sparingly. I think it makes me look fat, and it’s hard to keep stains off it. I look best in the wine, I like the blue….and I still think the bright yellow throwback is sweet. I will try to mix in the white more when I am doing more dunking and less dancing.

Ryan from Fairfield OH asks: Yo Moondog. Have you ever met "The King" LeBron James or Zydrunas Ilgauskus? If so, are they nice?

Moondog: Met them both, several times. They are both very nice dudes. Both are down to earth great people considering one of them being the greatest player on the face of the earth and the other having very large feet.

Michael A. from Grosse Pointe Woods asks: How was your All-Star weekend? I have a question for you. How many All-Star games have you gone to? If you have gone to any, would you please list which cities you have gone to. I'm making a survey for school on all-star mascots.

Moondog: All-Star was great (see the complete story here). It’s a lot of work, but always worth it to see the greatest players and work with the fattest mascot in the NBA (Clutch).

I have been named an All-Star in each of my three seasons (the first NBA mascot to hold that honor), performing in LA 2004, Denver 2005, and Houston 2006.

Brandi from Oklahoma writes: Moondog my name is Brandi. I am from Oklahoma City. I am a big fan of the Cavaliers. I wanted to ask you how come you don't have an official website? If you decide to make one it should be www.Moondog.com. Please respond back.

Moondog: I’d like to think I do have an official website, cavs.com. They post a bunch of other stuff, but primarily it’s all about me. Moondog.com was already taken by someone who wants to provide some web services to you….I think they should hand over what is rightfully mine. Or perhaps I can trade them for my other site, webservicesandotherstufffromzeppole.com …seems like that would work well for both of us.

Stephanie in Warren, OH asks: Where can I purchase a Moondog jersey? I was at the game last night and they did not have any at the shops!

Moondog: This is an outrage.

I think the incredible popularity of our humble mascot has caused a run on his official game jersey, but I will look into it. I know there are still several of the handsome plush Moondog dolls available. The doll has a jersey on it, but it may be too small for you to wear personally.
