Join the Cleveland Cavaliers as we team up with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for the 2016 Harvest for Hunger campaign! With 1 in 6 Ohioans struggling to put food on the table, we need your help in the fight against hunger.
Show your support by bringing canned foods and non-perishable items to the Cavaliers’ home games on Tuesday, March 29th (8:00 PM vs the Houston Rockets) and Thursday, March 31st (7:00 PM vs the Brooklyn Nets).
What is Harvest for Hunger?
Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest food and fund drives in the United States. In 2015, more than $4.8 million and over 400,000 pounds of food were collected, providing more than 19.6 million meals to hungry men, women, and children in 21 counties.
What are the most need food items?
The “Super Six” most needed food items are:
- Peanut Butter
- Tuna Fish
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Soup
- Beef Stew
Where can I donate?
You can donate canned foods and non-perishable items at the Cavaliers’ home games on Tuesday, March 29th and Thursday, March 31st. Collections bins will be located at all entrances into Quicken Loans Arena.

BONUS: Fans attending the Cavs games on March 29th or March 31st who bring in ALL of the Super 6 most needed food items can be entered to win two (2) tickets to a first round home playoff game! In order to be eligible for the raffle, fans must bring ALL of the Super 6 items to the Arcade Entrance collection bin upon entering the arena. One winner will be selected from the collections at both games. The winner will be notified on Friday, April 1st.
