Harvest for Hunger

Join the Cleveland Cavaliers as we team up with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for the 2018 Harvest for Hunger Campaign! With 1 in 6 people in Northeast Ohio considered food insecure – meaning they may not know where their next meal will come from – the Wine & Gold need your help in the fight against hunger!

Show your support by bringing canned foods and non-perishable items to the Cavaliers home games on Monday, March 19th (7PM vs the Milwaukee Bucks), Wednesday, March 21st (7PM vs the Toronto Raptors) and Friday, March 23rd (7:30PM vs the Phoenix Suns).

What is Harvest for Hunger?
Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest food and fund drives in the United States. In 2017, more than $5 million and nearly 400,000 pounds of food were collected, providing more than 21 million meals to hungry men, women, and children in 21 counties.

Who does Harvest for Hunger help?
Food and funds donated through the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s Harvest for Hunger Campaign are distributed to more than 800 local hunger centers throughout their six (6) county service area. More than 44% of the people served are children and seniors and 64% of households must choose between paying for food and paying for utilities.

Where can I donate?
You can donate canned foods and non-perishable items at the Cavs home games on Monday, March 19th, Wednesday, March 21st and Friday, March 23rd. Collections bins will be located at all entrances into Quicken Loans Arena.
