The Cavaliers Youth Fund Golf Classic, now in its 28th year, is the premier fundraising event for the Cavaliers Youth Fund, a fund of the Cleveland Foundation. The event raises over $150,000 each year for the Fund, which supports programs designed to positively impact at-risk youth in the areas of education, recreation, employment and life skills. Since 1993, more than $22 million has been granted through the CYF to local non-profit organizations such as Providence House, Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland, Cleveland Foodbank, Shoes & Clothes for Kids and many more.
Each summer, the CYF Golf Classic reunites former Cavaliers players, coaches and management for a day on the course with our corporate partners, Members and fans. This year, the event will also feature nearly the entire current Cavaliers roster of players, coaches and management. Expected attendees include the following:
In addition, guests will have the chance to mingle on the North and West courses with Cavaliers entertainment team members including the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, Moondog, Sir CC, Ahmaad and Nicole!

The CYF Golf Classic is not just about 18-holes of golf. Participants will also be treated to delicious fare from Outback Steakhouse on the course; the chance to win prizes in contests for the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole-in-One; the opportunity to win cash at the Betting Hole and in the Skins Game; and, if golf isn’t up to par, you can always challenge your celebrity to a quick game of hoops at the turn! When golf is over, you’ll enjoy food from some of Cleveland’s finest chefs, courtesy of their food trucks, and a one-of-a-kind sports and entertainment silent auction.
But that’s not all! This year, you’ll have the chance to bid on your celebrity or score keeper! Three weeks prior to the event, all participants will have the chance to go on-line and bid to play golf with their favorite Cavs player.
