(On what he liked and didn’t like about tonight’s game): “I told the guys after the game, I’ve been in the league for 18 years and it’s always been tough to play that last game before the All-Star break. I like how we started the game. I didn’t like how we finished the game. I thought we took our foot off the gas. We were messing around a lot out there on the floor and they came back and made some threes. They’re a dangerous team. Lou Williams made some threes. Kobe made some threes, got some fouls called and went to the free throw line. So, just having that killer instinct of putting teams away we haven’t done.”

(On Kobe’s last game in Cleveland): “I remember when he was a rookie and I was watching from back at home, and him going between the legs at the slam dunk competition and slamming it home to the win the dunk contest. Our fans love great athletes, love great people, and they pay respect to one of the greatest players ever. I was just happy to be a part of it.”

(On if he feels like he is all the way back): “I feel like I’m in a pretty good place, mentally and physically. I’m just doing whatever is needed and always being prepared for every single game. That gives me a great opportunity to play well every single game, but that starts with the confidence instilled from my teammates and the coaching staff. They’re putting me in great positions where I’m not using a lot of energy and coming off of pick and rolls to find people, whether it be pin downs or dribble handoffs. It’s just finding spots that I’m comfortable in.”

(On how severe the injury is): “At the time I didn’t know what it really was. It was just like when you get hit in the funny bone and there was a shooting pain. It felt like fire was running down my arm. It’s just a stinger and the doctor decided to just be cautious and use the break to feel better, but it actually feels okay right now.”
