10:50 p.m.: After a pretty laid-back first half, Dion and Tim Hardaway Jr. stage a great long-distance battle in the second. Waiters notched 23 pts in the second half and -- along with Andre Drummond and Hardaway -- will get some MVP consideration. Waiters also lead Team Hill with seven assists. Dion finished 10-of-14 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from long-distance, adding three steals in just under 22 minutes of action. In the game, Team Hill topped Team Webber, 142-136.

10:50 p.m.: Dion and Tim Hardaway are waging a great battle here in the second half. In the last four minutes, Dion has scored 15 pts, Hardaway, Jr., 16. Dion now with 31 pts; Hardaway with 34.

10:36 p.m.: Waiters getting some work in the second half of BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge -- leads Team Hill with six assists, including a beautiful no-look to Terrance Jones. Dion now with 10 pts (3-5 FG), 6 helpers and a rebound. Andre Drummond cruising towards this year's MVP, leads everyone with 25 points and 20 boards.

9:58 p.m.: End of the first half here in New Orleans and it's Dion Waiters and Team Hill leading Team Webber, 67-66, in a defensive struggle. In eight minutes off the bench, Dion is 3-of-4 from the floor with a team-high four assists to go with two boards. Detroit's Andre Drummond leads everyone with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Carter-Williams leads Team Webber with 15 points.

9:33 p.m.: Dion sees his first action of the night for Team Hill, only one minute before a timeout. During the timeout, Moondog is doing this thing on the floor, dressed as cupid -- full with wings, a bow and arrow, and what looks like a diaper.

The big surprise is that Team Hill is only shooting 48 percent FG. Needless to say, there isn't a ton of defense played in this game. Not a knock on any Cavaliers, but in two appearances, Tristan Thompson has gone a combined 19-of-21 from the floor. As a rookie, Kyrie was 12-of-13 FG, 8-of-8 from three-point range. And last year, Dion was 11-for-12 from the floor.

9:10 p.m.: BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge about to tip off. Dion will be coming off the bench for Team Hill. Starters are Harrison Barnes, Damian Lillard, Jonas Valanciunas, Bradley Beal and Andre Drummond. For Team Webber, starters are Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger, Anthony Davis, Victor Oladipo and Michael Carter-Williams.

4:27 p.m.: Kyrie joined volunteers, NBA partners adidas, Kia, SAP and State Farm, and NBA community partners City Year, KaBOOM! and Rebuilding Together for the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service.

1:30 p.m. Dion and the rest of the BBVA Compass Rising Stars dished out their greatest assist of the day at today's NBA Cares Day of Service event.

8:40 a.m. - Happy Valentine's Day Cavs fans. What better way to spend it than with the Wine and Gold.

We just arrived here in the Crescent City for an action-packed All-Star Friday. Today's festivities tipoff with Dion Waiters and Team Hill practicing at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (location of Jam Session) for the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge to be played later this evening.

After practice, Dion will lend a helping hand in the Algiers Riverview Neighborhood as part of the NBA Cares Day of Service.

Then, we will swing by the Hyatt Regency Hotel as Kyrie Irving and his Eastern Conference teammates field questions during their media availability. Irving's NBA Cares Day of Service takes him to the KIPP Leadership Academy as he helps build a PLAY/KaBoom site.

We wrap up All-Star Friday with Waiters playing in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge at the Smoothie King Center.
