FINAL - WAS 98, CLE 91 ... Kyrie Irving scored 18 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter, but the Cavaliers dug themselves a 27-point hole that proved to tough to dig out of. Jarrett Jack and Anderson Varejao both finished with 14 points off the bench and Dion Waiters added 11. Matthew Dellavedova canned three threes in the second half to draw the Cavaliers within four in the fourth.

38.1, 4Q - WAS 92, CLE 86 ... Beal shakes loose from Delly for a tough jumper and a turnover on the other end puts Cavs in a tough spot in the final minute. Need to come out of this TO with something good ...

3:28, 4Q - WAS 86, CLE 79 ... Kyrie now with 10 pts in the 4Q (looking for 11) -- 20 onthe game; Cavs on a 10-0 run after last timeout; players, coaches pounding on Delly when he came back to the bench -- was the catalyst along with Kyrie on recent run, team loves the rookie. Five on the floor: Kyrie, Delly, Andy, Clark, Waiters.

3:28, 4Q - WAS 86, CLE 79 ... Behind Kyrie Irving's six straight points, the Cavs are right in this; Came out of recent timeout on an 8-0 run.

9:00, 3Q - WAS 80, CLE 67 ... Cavs come out with 8-0 run to start 3Q; Dellavedova, now 3-of-5 from long-distance, 9 pts, second straight strong game for the Australian rookie.

End 3Q - WAS 80, CLE 59 ... Cavs cut into Wizards' lead, but still down big; Mike Brown looking for cominations to get CLE back into this; Delly and Henry sims have give him decent minutes; Jack (14 pts), Kyrie (10) and Andy (10) still only Cavaliers in double-figures; Beal leads everyone with 22 pts; Cavs getting beat on the break, in the paint and on second-chance points.

Fans aren't happy as the Cavs take timout down 27 midway through 3Q; four of five Wizards starters in double-figures, WAS shooting 52 pct FG; Kyrie only starter in double-figures, 10 pts, 5 asst; Jack (14 pts), Varejao (10) off the bench; Cavs getting worked on the FB -- 18-2; have committed 13 TO to WAS' 6.

Kyrie leads starters w/4 pts and 5 asst; Cavs w/12 turnovers, getting beat on the fastbreak, 16-2; Wizards shooting an even 50 pct FG -- Webster, Nene, 11 pts each, Beal, 10.

5:56, 2Q - WAS 41, CLE 25 ... Cavs still looking out of sorts; Martel Webster (10 pts), Beal (9) and Nene (8) + Gortat (3-4 FG) having their way right now; Jarrett Jack w/9 pts off Cavs bench, starters struggling, combined 3-10 FG.

End 1Q - WAS 30, CLE 19 ... Sluggish 1Q for the Cavs, despite shooting 40 pct FG; Jarrett Jack leading with 7 pts, 3-3 FG -- rest of team, 5-17 FG; Kyrie w/3 asst; Bradley Beal picking up where he left off Saturday, leads everyone with 9 pts, Wiz shooting 57 pct 3pt FG.

4:52, 1Q - WAS 21, CLE 9 ... Waiters didn't get the start, but he was inserted into the game less than three minutes in when CJ Miles left with a right calf strain. His return is questionable. Wizards shooting 60 percent. Earl Clark another three-pointer, now 7-8 from behind the arc over the last three games.
