FINAL - PHX 99, CLE 90 ... The Cavaliers, who led by as many as 20 in the first half, scored only 29 points in the second stanza and dropped a difficult 99-90 decision to the Suns on Sunday evening at The Q. Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 24 points and Luol Deng (18 points, 10 boards) and Tristan Thompson (17, 13) each doubled-up in the loss.

4:25, 4Q - PHX 84, CLE 81 ... Cavs still trying to get back in front to win this thing, but more importantly, Varejao went down on a loose ball grabbing his left knee. He's back up, limping back to the huddle and looks like he'll stay in the game; Cavs cut Suns' 11-point lead to 3, will try to salvage this one down the stretch.

End 3Q - PHX 68, CLE 67 ... To say that was a bad quarter for the CAvs would be an understatment, Cavs schore just 6 pts in the quarter, shoot 9 pct; both teams now shooting 39 pct FG; Thompson, double-double, 12 pts, 11 reb; Deng 14 pts, 9 reb, 5 asst; Kyrie, 13 pts, 8 asst; Cavs led by as many as 20 in 1H.

3:33, 3Q - CLE 67, PHX 63 ... PHX starts second half on a 20-6 run and are within striking distance -- Cavs led by as many as 20 in the 1H; Markieff Morris leads both tems w/15 pts; Deng leads CLE w/14 pts but CLE shooting just 11 pct in 3Q; Thompson, another double-double, 12 pts, 10 reb.

Enjoy some First half highlights ...

End 1H - CLE 61, PHX 43 ... First half highlight - Luol Deng alley-oop to Tristan ...

5:51, 2Q - CLE 43, PHX 33 ... Sloppy last couple minutes, but Cavs looking good, moving the ball well, defending rim on other end -- PHX shooting just 37 pct FG; Cavs shooting an even 50 pct FG, CJ Miles, 10 pts, 4-7 FG; Tristan, 7 pts, 6 reb; Kyrie, 7 pts, 6 asst; Cavs, 11 combined pts off bench.

5:20, 1Q - CLE 15, PHX 11 ...Kyrie already with 6 assists (one game after handing out 10 helpers); Miles, 3-5 FG, 7 pts to lead everyone; points in the paint: Cavs 10, Suns 4.

Pregame - Cavs look to make it two straight and even their record on the five-game homestand when they face the first of two straight Western Conference squads when the Suns roll in. The Cavs held Milwaukee to a season-low 78 points on Friday, running their lead to as many as 26 points before resting starters throughout the fourth quarter.

Anderson Varejao comes in on a rebounding roll -- he's grabbed at least 11 boards in a 12 of the Cavs' last 14 contests. Since Dec. 29, Andy's averaging 13.7 rebounds to go with 11.3 points. Tonight, Andy plays the 513th game of his Cavs career, tying Craig Ehlo for 9th on the all-time list. He's 12 points and 11 rebounds away from 4,000 in each category. Only Z, Brad Daugherty and Hot Rod Williams have put up that number in both categories.

Dion Waiters is the top-scoring reserve in the Eastern Conference at 14.7 ppg, notching double-figures in 22 of his 29 appearances as a sub.

Here's Mike Brown's pregame presser in which he talked predominantly about Tristan Thompson on the offensive boards and his "nose for the basketball."

Starting lineup for tonight: G Irving, G Miles, F Deng, F Thompson, C Varejao
