FINAL - SAS 122, CLE 101 ... The Cavaliers held the Spurs to 24 percent shooting and 13 total points in the first quarter of Tuesday's matchup, but San Antonio caught fire from beyond the arc over the final three periods, running away with the 122-101 win at The Q. The Cavaliers featured three players with 20-plus point evenings -- Kyrie Irving with 24 points, Spencer Hawes, who doubled-up with 20 points and 13 boards and Dion Waiters, who led the Wine and Gold with 24 points on 11-for-18 shooting in his return after seven games on the shelf with a left knee injury.

6:26, 4Q - SAS 108, CLE 82 ... Spurs have threatened to pull away over final three quarters and have done so in 4Q, now up 26. Waiters, 24 pts in return; Kyrie, 21 pts; Hawes doubles-up with 17 pts, 10 reb; Spurs shot 24 pct FG in 1Q, now at 51 pct.

Pregame ... Just 20 games remaining after tonight. Cavs trying to make a postseason run in final five weeks -- 3.5 games behind Atlanta, which is in a freefall and Charlotte, who Cleveland faces on Friday night. Cavs play their fourth straight Western Conference foe tonight and have won four of five against the West. Over the last 12, the Cavs are 8-4, including a 4-2 record at The Q.

The Cavaliers will get Dion Waiters back tonight, his first game since injuring his left knee on a massive dunk in Philly following the All-Star Break. Anderson Varejao (sore back) and CJ Miles (sprained left ankle) are still out for the Wine and Gold. While they await Andy's return, Cavs big men are playing very good ball. Tristan Thompson has doubled-up in seven of his last ten games -- averaging 15.3 points and 11.5 boards over that span. His team-leading 29 double-doubles are third in the Eastern Conference. Spencer Hawes has notched double-figures in his last five games and is averaging 13.8 points and 9.3 boards as a Cavalier. And Tyler Zeller, who's worked his way back from a slow start, is averaging 10.4 points and 6.5 rebounds over his last 10 games -- shooting .509 from the floor and .893 from the stripe.
