FINAL - BKN 89, CLE 82 ... The Cavaliers erased a 14-deficit early in the third quarter, but cooled off considerable in the fourth, dropping the 89-82 decision on Saturday night in Brooklyn. Dion Waiters led the Wine and Gold with 26 points on 9-for-18 shooting. CJ MIles added 19 points and Matthew Dellavedova was a perfect 4-of-4 from beyond the arc for 13 points in the loss.

2:12, 4Q - BKN 82, CLE 74 ... Waiters just gets T'ed up, hasn't gotten the calls tonight, but leads CLE w/22 pts; Cavs need a quick run, have just nine points in the fourth.

End 3Q - BKN 67, CLE 65 ... Cavs come back to erase one-time 14-pt deficit; CJ brought the energy out of the locker room and got the team going in the 3Q, 13 pts; Dion Waiters on fire in the quarter (9 pts), now with 20, (8-12 FG, 3-4 3pt FG); Delly, now 4-4 from 3pt range, 12 pts off bench.

8:36, 3Q - BKN 54, CLE 48 ... CJ Miles set the tone early in the 3Q, scoring 6 quick pts, now w/10 pts, 6 reb; Dion still leads CLE w/11; Cavs on an 8-1 run.

End 1H - BKN 51, CLE 38 ... Nets close the half on a 16-7 run; several defensive breakdowns in the 2Q, Livingston getting behind Cavs D uncontested; Wiaters leads CLE w/11 pts; Deron Williams leads everyone w/13; Nets shooting 54 pct FG, Cavs, 41; BKN w/16 assists on 21 makes; Delly w/three three-pointers in 2Q.

5:37, 2Q - BKN 35, CLE 31 ... Delly cans a pair of threes in the quarter, one from each corner; teams go to timeout with Paul Pierce sitting on Cavs bench next to Bernie Bickerstaff after going for a loose ball; Cavs get a scare when Andy goes down after taking a shot to the sternum, but he's back in action; Dion Waiters now leads all Cavs w/9 pts, 3-5 FG, 2-3 3pt FG.

End 1Q - BKN 22, CLE 17 ... CJ Miles leads Cavs with 5 pts; Zeller, 2 pts, 2 reb off the bench; CLE shooting just 38 pct; Deron Williams, Reggie Evans, 8 pts apiece for BKN.

2:13, 1Q - BKN 19, CLE 13 ... slow start for Cavs and Reggie Evans already with a season-high 7 pts; CJ Miles, who had a big game in Brooklyn last season, leads CLE w/5 pts; BKN shooting 60 pct FG; Deron Williams going just hits jumper over Delly, looking for and-1.

Pregame - Cavaliers in their second of four meeting with the Nets this year. Cavs topped Brooklyn in the opener, 98-94, at The Q. Kyrie Irving missing his second game with that left knee contusion he suffered in the New Year's Eve Loss to Indiana. Jarrett Jack again will get the start.

Anderson Varejao coming off a monster game in the overtime win over Orlando, tied a team record and set a personal and arena record with 25 boards. Andy also went nuts against the Nets before his injury last season. In the last game of a six-game road trip, Varejao netted 35 points and 18 boards in Cleveland's first-ever visit to the Barclays Center.

Cavs bring the top scoring bench into tonight's matchup, but the starting lineup will be: G Jack, G Miles, F Clark, F Thompson, C Varejao.
