FINAL ... Anderson Varejao hit two huge baskets down the stretch and Kyrie Irving sealed the deal with four straight free throws as the Wine and Gold won their home opener on Wednesday night. Tristan Thompson led Cleveland with 18 points and eight boards; Irving finished with 15 points, nine assists and seven boards in the win.
28.1, 4Q ... CLE 93, BKN 91 - After a very questionable offensive foul call against Tristan, Andy bails Cavs out again -- hits a jumper late in the shot-clock as Kyrie ran out of options.

7:33, 4Q ... CLE 82, BKN 82 - Jason Terry cans two straight 3's and BKN goes on a 12-3 run to tie the game. Cavs, four tunovers in last four minutes to let Nets back into it. Tristan, leading scorer (18) and rebounder (7). Kyrie, not shooting well (3-12 FG), but leads CLE w/7 asst.
End 3Q ... CLE 79, BKN 70 - Anthony Bennet finally got off the shneid late in the third, canning his second free throw. The rookie has looked like one tonight, is 0-4 FG (0-3 3pt FG). Pregame ... New Cavaliers video open was incredible and the arena is thumping. The song, by Armin van Buuren, is “We Are Here To Make Some Noise” and includes a song lyric from Bones Thugs n Harmony’s song titled East 1999… “Cleveland is the city where we come from so run.” It was produced by the Cavaliers in-house QTV production team in conjunction with local video production company Think Media Studios.
