FINAL - CLE 109, ORL 100 ... The Cavaliers snapped a four-game road losing streak and won their fifth game in the last six outings, overcoming a slow start and hanging on for the nine-point win in Orlando. Kyrie Irving led everyone with 31 points and Dion Waiters notched 21 off the bench.
10.2, 4Q - CLE 108, ORL 100 ... Heated finish in ORL, Nicholson decks Andy on uncontested layup, Varejao goes down grabbing his knee, Waiters immediately gets in Nicholson's face; Refs are reviewing, should be a flagrant.
51.6, 4Q - CLE 103, ORL 96 ... Wild finish, Cavs went up 11, but ORL battled back with three straight stops; Waiters has been unstoppable in 4th quarter, just missed a layup, but Andy cleaned up to put Cavs back up seven; 14 boards for Varejao.
3:58, 4Q - CLE 95, ORL 90 ... Game starting to swing back and forth -- Delly's three puts Cavs up 10, but a couple turnovers lead to ORL points, Cavs still up five; bench, 50 combined pts.
6:31, 4Q - CLE 90, ORL 85 ... Excellent run by the Cavaliers, led by a scorching Dion Waiters, now with 14 pts in the 4Q and just fed Delly in the corner, who canned a three and put the Cavs up five; Dion now with 19 pts; Kyrie w/27 pts; Varejao, 13 boards off the bench.
8:06, 4Q - ORL 85, CLE 83 ... Dion Waiters has caught fire in the fourth quarter, 10 of his 15 pts in the fourth and heading the stripe; Should be an interesting finish.
End 3Q - ORL 76, CLE 73 ... Good one in Orlando, Cavs shooting 46 pct FG; Kyrie leads everyone w/27 pts, 12-22 FG; CJ Miles, 10 pts; Earl Clark, 9 pts off the bench, all in the first half.
3:57, 3Q - ORL 72, CLE 69 ... Kyrie leads everyone with 27 points as Cavs are right in it, recovering from a slow start; Oladipo, 22 pts, 7-11 FG; Cavs, 26 bench pts.
End 1H - ORL 51, CLE 50 ... After a bad first quarter, the Cavs bounce back, sparked by Earl Clark, came off the bench to hit three straight 3pt FG; Kyrie found rhythm in 2Q, now leads everyone w/16 pts, 7-14 FG; CJ Miles, also getting back on track after returning from calf injury, 4-5 FG, 8 pts; still trying to get Bynum going, just 1-1 FG; Cavs still getting killed on the FB - 19-2.
2:45, 2Q - ORL 45, CLE 40 ... Cavs use a nice run to get back into it, but ORL runs off 5 straight pts and Mike Brown calls TO; another good effort from second unit - 24 pts already, Clark leading w/9 pts - 3-3 3pt FG -- he's shooting .415 on the year coming into Friday; Kyrie, 5-12 FG, 10 pts.
3:32, 2Q - ORL 40, CLE 40 ... Earl Clark has basically been the difference, 3-3 3pt FG, 9 pts; Kyrie, now w/10 pts as Cavs use a 13-3 run to tie the game; Anthony Bennett, 3-5 FG, 6 pts off bench.
End 1Q - ORL 28, CLE 19 ... Poor 1Q for the Wine and Gold in ORL, shot 38 pct FG; Kyrie, 3-9 FG, 6 pts to lead CLE; Varejao, CJ Miles, 4 pts apiece; fastbreak points, ORL 17, CLE 0 -- that pretty much tells the story so far.
2:43, 1Q - ORL 26, CLE 14 ... Cavs off to another slow start, have had a hard time getting the ball to Bynum; Cavs shooting 37 pct; CJ Miles, 2-3 FG, 4 pts; 8 pts for Oladipo.
Pregame - Cavs come into Friday's contest riding a hot streak -- four wins in their last five outings. But they have to start doing it on the road and Friday would be a good one to get (especially with Miami on the horizon tomorrow night and the Blazers next week at The Q).
Cavs went 3-1 last year against the Magic; Jarrett Jack has been finding his groove with Cleveland -- leads Eastern Conference reserves with 3.5 assists per game; Cavs bench comes in 5th in the NBA, averaging 38.1 ppg; it's no coincidence the Cavaliers have been good over their last five, over his last five games, Andrew Bynum is averaging 15.0 points on .516 (32-62) shooting from the field, 8.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest.
