This afternoon, the Cavs face their former assistant, Mike Malone, now the bench boss in Sacramento. (Former Buckeye great and Cavs assistant, Chris Jent, is also on Malone's staff.) Current head coach Mike Brown spoke glowingly of Malone before Sunday's contest.

"It’s well-deserved," praised Brown. "He’s a guy who’s worked his tail off, he’s been around the game his entire life and he’s ready for it. For him to get this opportunity with a young team, having a chance to grow with this young team is a phenomenal opportunity for him and he’s going to do well as long as he gets time here."

Starters for tonight's game in Sacramento: G Irving, G Miles, F Deng, F Thompson, C Varejao
