FINAL - BOS 103, CLE 100 ... Earl Clark can't sqeeze off final three-pointer for Cavs and they fall, despite cutting Boston's 22-point lead to a single bucket in the fourth quarter. Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 32 points and Dion Waiters added 17 off the bench as the Cavaliers dropped their fourth straight.

1.4, 4Q - BOS 103, CLE 100 ... Waiters got past Bass, but Bass swats shot attempt. Cavs foul, but lose valuable seconds doing so; Bradley splits the pair.

18.7, 4Q - BOS 102, CLE 100 ... Jarrett Sullinger air-balls a three-pt attempt and Cavs have a chance to tie or win the game on final possession ....

2:38, 4Q - BOS 98, CLE 94 ... Jarrett Jack drains back-to-back three-pointers and Cavs are within four; CLE has outscored BOS, 28-13 in 4Q; Kyrie now w/30 pts; Jack & Waiters, combined 27 pts off bench.

5:48, 4Q - BOS 94, CLE 86 ... Cavs have turned up the defense and have gotten more aggressive on the offensive end and find themselves right in this one; Kyrie, 8 pts in 4Q, now w/28; Dion, 5 in the 4Q, now w/13; Anthony Bennett, 5 pts, 5 reb, but more importantly, looking a little more confident on the floor; tons of time left ...

Cavs' defense a little better in 3Q, but still have a tall climb in the fourth; Waiters and Jack starting to heat up off bench, but Kyrie (20 pts) and Clark (12) still the only Cavs in double-figures; Jeff Green and Jordan Crawford w/17 pts apiece for Boston; Celtics still shooting 52 pct FG; Andy and Tristan haven't gotten it going in the absence of Bynum today.

Celtics adding insult to injury, Sullinger elbows Varejao in the mug, no call; Celtics still shooting well, use an early 7-0 run in 3Q to extend the lead; Cavs need something to wake them up, maybe Andy getting decked will do it; Kyrie now w/ 16 pts; Clark w/12; Cavs not getting much from bench - 12 combined pts.

End 1H - BOS 59, CLE 44 ... Sloppy 2Q sets the Cavs back, BOS shoots 65 pct in the period and outscore CLE, 35-22; Earl Clark w/12 pts, Kyrie w/11; Jeff Green leads everyone w/15 pts and Celtics shooting 58 pct FG overall; BOS, 16 assists on 25 makes; Cavs need to get Celtics off 3pt line in 2H.

5:30, 2Q - BOS 40, CLE 32 ... Courtney Lee comes in to net 8 quick pts off the bench for BOS, who started pulling away before Andy split a pair of FT and Jarrett Jack canned a jumper; Earl Clark leds CLE w/8 pts; Kyrie, Tristan, 7 pts apiece.

End 1Q - BOS 24, CLE 22 ... Cavs look better after 1Q than the last time they were here; Earl Clark leading the way for Cleveland, 8 pts, 2-3 3pt FG; Kyrie, 3-3 FG, 7 pts; Tristan, 5 pts, 3 reb; both teams shooting well, BOS 50 pct FG, CLE 48 pct; Jeff Green leads everyone with 12 pts.

4:49, 1Q - BOS 15, CLE 14 ... Despite the Bynum news, Cavs look sharp at the outset in Boston. Earl Clark (2-5 FG) and Kyrie Irving (2-2) with five points apiece. Both teams shooting 50 pct FG.

Pregame - The big news before today's matinee in Boston is obviously the suspension of Andrew Bynum. It was announced approximately two hours before game time. Bynum didn't travel with the team and has been excused from all team activities indefinitely.

All the details will unfold over the next few days, but as of right now, Anderson Varejao gets the start and Tyler Zeller will move up in the rotation as the Cavs take on the Celtics. And the Cavaliers have a big task at-hand today. It's still early in the season, but Cleveland trails Boston by 1.5 games for the 8th and final playoff spot in the East. Both teams come into Saturday looking to snap three-game losing streaks.

Dion Waiters will be active today. Sergey Karasev gets an opportunity for some minutes tonight in Canton. The rookie was assigned on Friday afternoon.
