Snow, a native of Canton, is an 11-year veteran of the NBA and has returned to his hometown in 2003 after spending six seasons as team captain of the Philadelphia 76ers. His foundation’s mission is to empower and encourage father-child relationships through programs focused on life skills development, family development, business, education, and home ownership.

“Through my foundation, I have decided to do my part and respond to the challenge of supporting fathers,” said Snow. “My major goal is to encourage fathers to spend quality time with their kids and be positive examples for them. I know that I can make a difference. I am sharing my time, resources, and professional status to assist with the development of a variety of community outreach initiatives that will ultimately encourage, reward, and support families in the Canton, Cleveland, and Northeast Ohio area. I hope that corporations and the general community will respond to the challenge, as well, by supporting our Shoot 4 The Moon Golf Outing.”

Honorary Co-chairmen of the event are: Fred Nance, Managing Partner, Squire Sanders (Cleveland); Lonnie Coleman, Chairman, Coleman Spohn Corporation (Cleveland) and Adam Troy, President & CEO, Troy Enterprises (Columbus).

“I am very excited and honored to serve as one of the Honorary Co-Chairmen for Eric’s Shoot 4 the Moon Foundation golf outing,” said Nance. “I am looking forward to a very successful event. After all, it’s for a wonderful cause…supporting the foundation of our families and communities…fathers!”
