Reading and Learning Centers

In an effort to provide children in the Northeast Ohio region with better access to books and technology, the Cavaliers create Reading and Learning Centers in community-based organizations and schools. This allows a qualified non-profit organization to improve the condition of its current facility as well as to improve the quality of its literacy and educational programming. Since 2004, the Cavaliers have opened twelve Reading & Learning Centers. Qualified organizations must have strong educational/literacy programs, dedicated educational staff and volunteers and provide services for children from 5-18 years. Organizations interested in applying for funding to improve the condition of their current facility must print and submit the attached application, a 501(c)(3) letter and the most current budget. If you have further questions, please email cavscare@cavs.com.

Please stay tuned for information regarding the 2014-15 school year and how to apply for funding toward a new Reading and Learning Center.
