The MVP program is a season-long campaign designed to encourage and challenge elementary, middle and high school students in Northeast Ohio to think of new and creative ways to be environmentally friendly. To do so, the schools and classrooms took part in a year-long competition to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Each month, the participating classes were challenged to reduce, reuse, recycle a specific kind of item: November – plastics; December – aluminum; January – paper; February – glass; March – cardboard. The class that did the most was chosen as the MVP Class of the Month.

Northeast Ohio is certainly a more environmentally friendly place because of the work of these students!
