CLEVELAND, OH - Wednesday, December 12th was a big shopping day for two groups of children in Northeast Ohio. Cavaliers Eric Snow and Donyell Marshall continued the team’s “Season of Giving” by hosting their own personal shopping sprees at Target Stores.

Snow, with help from his Shoot 4 the Moon Foundation and Charter One Bank, treated students from Hartford Middle School, where he attended as a youth in his hometown of Canton. More than 200 students spent nearly two hours shopping with Snow and Cavaliers mascot Moondog at the local Target store in North Canton. The event was made possible in part by a generous grant from Charter One to Snow’s foundation.

“This was a really special treat for our students, our school, and our city because Eric is loved by this community,” said Hartford Middle School Principal Stephanie Patrick. “He is among the most well respected people to ever come from Canton and he has never forgotten where he came from. These are hard working people and Eric’s holiday treat for their children will bring smiles to a lot of folks who support him.”

Later that evening, Donyell Marshall took 30 children from the Broadway Boys and Girls Club on a personal holiday shopping spree at Cleveland’s newest Target store. The children had the chance to scout the store for gift ideas, eat holiday treats and sing Christmas carols with Moondog before Marshall arrived.

Each child then received a $200 gift card to spend on gifts, thanks to the generosity of Target matching Marshall’s own personal contribution. This was the second year Marshall held this holiday shopping spree for underprivileged children.
