KERRY A. TATLOCK
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Partnerships
As Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships, Kerry A. Tatlock manages the group’s global infrastructure and identifies global efficiencies and best practices across the league’s regional offices, with a focus on driving business opportunities for new and existing partnerships.
Tatlock has worked within the Global Marketing Partnerships group at the National Basketball Association since 2005, serving as a Director, Senior Director, and Vice President prior to her current role. She spent the 2011-12 season and the start of the 2012-13 season in London, managing the league’s marketing partnerships and business development efforts for NBA EMEA. Tatlock specifically focused on the league’s activities in the region leading up to the 2012 Olympics and the European pre-season tour in October 2012 with games played in Germany, Turkey, Italy, and Spain. Prior to her assignment in Europe, Tatlock managed and directed global and domestic marketing partner relationship and developed marketing platforms for league sponsors.
Prior to joining the NBA, Tatlock served as Vice President of Television and New Media at the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) from 2000 to 2003, serving as a senior member of the corporate launch team. She was responsible for introducing the WUSA brand to the national marketplace, developing and implementing strategic direction for the league’s television plan, and collaborating on sponsorship marketing, communications, and operations planning.
From 1997 to 2000, Tatlock worked as Director of Marketing and Development at SFX Sports, where she managed the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team relationship, including all sales and marketing for the team’s post-Women’s World Cup (1999) and post-Olympic (2000) soccer tours. She was also a member of the company’s executive committee responsible for integrating SFX subsidiaries.
Prior to joining SFX Sports, Tatlock was Manager of International Communications at Nickelodeon, serving as a member of the international launch team, relocating to select markets to introduce and launch Nickelodeon channels outside of the United States. In addition, she worked with existing channels in the U.K., Germany, and Australia on short-term and long-term public relations priorities and communications strategies.
Tatlock graduated from Vassar College, with a B.A. in political science. She lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. with her husband, Michael, and daughter, Lyla.4/2013
