Attila Gazdag, Senior Vice President, Global Media Distribution, oversees the television, online, and mobile distribution of programming from the NBA’s worldwide content portfolio. Gazdag manages the NBA’s relationships with its network of global broadcast partners, reaching 215 countries and territories in 41 languages. He oversees and further develops the league’s digital initiatives, including the distribution of live streaming games, video highlights, fantasy and casual games, and other content on the Web, mobile devices, IPTV, and other digital platforms.

Prior to joining the NBA, Gazdag was the London-based Managing Director of the Walt Disney Internet Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. At Disney, he oversaw a staff of 150 and managed all aspects of the division’s regional operation. Gazdag was also involved with the launch of a number of broadband and mobile content businesses in Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to his six years at Disney, Gazdag held senior-level television and digital media positions in the entertainment industry, including at Universal Studios, E! Entertainment Television and Cinergi. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate finance and M&A at a unit of KPMG Peat Marwick.

Gazdag earned a dual degree, M.B.A. and Master of Arts from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the College of International Business in Budapest, Hungary.
