Co-host Cabral Richards, also known as Cabbie, gives you the skinny on hoops show NBA XL, which airs Wednesdays on Rogers Sportsnet.

NBA XL was developed and created to give Canadians a steady diet of basketball culture. For the millions out there who love the game as passionately as we do, NBA XL is here to deliver an in-depth, fun, exciting and cool look at the NBA and its stars. We're looking at everything from sneakers, to fashion, to signature moves, to classic games, to the hottest tracks blowing up the airwaves.

Hosting the show are two familiar faces in Canadian television.

Namugenyi Kiwanuka, aka Nam, is a huge basketball fan who has interviewed dozens of stars from the music and sports worlds.

You may recognize me, Nam's NBA XL co-host Cabral Richards. Also a huge basketball fan, I'm not afraid to challenge anyone to a game of one-on-one, be it Shaquille O'Neal or David Stern.

NBA XL: The Breakdown

360
360 starts the show as we look back at the past week's events. Without fail, something big happens every week and makes the game we love that much more interesting.

10 Deep
Every week in the NBA, the stars throw down some of the sickest dunks, hit game-winning shots and make plays that are indescribable! 10 Deep gives you a look at our top 10 hypest plays of the week.

Cipher
As fans, we all love to talk ball. Cipher takes you to a local gym to find out what basketball fans are talking about. Who's the best point guard of all time? Who will be Rookie of the Year? What are your favourite kicks? We're talking ball.

Gear/Steelo
This is one of the most important aspects of basketball culture and we're here to deliver the goods to you at home. NBA XL gets the scoop on what styles are hot and what's coming out this year. When a new signature sneaker drops, NBA XL takes you to it.

Hardwood Classics
Old-school flavour is back, and we can't move into the future without knowing where the game came from. The vintage style, from jerseys to sneakers, is the hottest thing in basketball fashion at the moment. We profile fashions and old-school gear brought to you by Reebok and others. And we can't forget some of the classic games and performances featuring hoops legends like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.

In The Lab With Cab/Nam Session
NBA XL Nam and I hang with some of the coolest ballers in the NBA, and hottest stars in the world of music. Nam brings her down-to-earth, relaxed vibe into Nam Session, and I keep it light and comical In The Lab With Cab. Nam and I have some fun with our guests, and deliver a perspective of the players' personas that audiences don't often see.

New Jacks
Every season a crop of new talent enters the NBA. Coming from high school or the college ranks, these guys try to contribute to their teams the only way they know how – balling. We catch up with rookies who are making a difference.

Soundbombing
Music and sports are interconnected. Hoops highlights and features are elevated with the right music, and vice versa – a wicked song looks amazing with some huge dunks or sick crossovers. We blend the hottest tracks with great plays from the NBA.

Street
The popularity of street ball has exploded into the mainstream. Ball fans have known about its artistry and showmanship for years and for those who aren't familiar, NBA XL gives you a look at some of the premier events, including the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour, Nike Battlegrounds and Rucker Park.

Don't forget to watch each Wednesday!
