ELIGIBILITY: No purchase necessary. Open to residents of Canada (except in the province of Quebec) who are at least age of majority in the province in which they reside and have a valid driver’s license as of the start of the Sweepstakes Period. The Grand Prize winners must show proof of a valid driver’s license and insurance in order to be declared a winner. You are not eligible if you are an employee of the National Basketball Association, its Member Teams, NBA Media Ventures, LLC, NBA Properties, Inc., or NBA Canada, Inc., (collectively, "NBA Entities"), Rogers Sportsnet, The Sports Network Inc., Headline Media Group Inc.'s The Score, Canwest’s Global TV, Toronto Raptors Network Ltd., Hyundai Auto Canada a division of Hyundai Motor America (HMA) and Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), Pharmacia Canada , or any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies (collectively with the NBA Entities, the "Sweepstakes Entities"); or a member of the immediate family or household of any of the above. In these Rules, "immediate family" means husband or wife, father, mother, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The sweepstakes begins on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time and ends on the first day after the final game of the 2003 NBA Finals at 10 a.m. Eastern Time ("Sweepstakes Period").

HOW TO ENTER: Watch NBA game telecasts on Rogers Sportsnet, TSN, Global TV, Raptors NBA TV and Headline Media Group Inc.'s The Score for NBA Playacodes (up to four Playacodes may appear in each telecast). Also check the National Post newspaper during the Sweepstakes Period where bonus Playacodes may appear (8 Playacodes will be published in the National Post over the course of the Sweepstakes Period). Log on to NBA.com/Canada and follow the links to the Sweepstakes registration page. Fill in the online entry form during the Sweepstakes Period, entering a Playacode in the Playacode field, and submit the entry form in accordance with the onscreen instructions. Only one Playacode may be entered per visit to the entry form. Any other attempt at Internet or email entry is void. Entries must be received by the day after the final game of the 2003 NBA Finals at 9:59 a.m. Eastern Time. The Sweepstakes Entities will not verify receipt of entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of the NBA Entities and will not be returned. No copies, facsimiles, or mechanical reproductions accepted.

For each correct individual Playacode entered, an entrant will be awarded one ballot for the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize draw. Each individual Playacode is worth only one ballot and can be entered only once per entrant. Multiple entries of the same individual Playacode will not result in extra ballots for an entrant.

NBA Playa Challenge entrants can receive a bonus ballot for opting-in to receive the newsletter on the NBA Playa Challenge entry form. Only one bonus ballot per entrant.

The personal information you provide upon entry is collected and used by the NBA Entities for purposes of administering the NBA Playa Challenge and is subject to the NBA.com Privacy Policy.

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The Grand Prize winners and Secondary Prize winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing held on or about July 18, 2003 by NBA Canada, Inc.

Grand Prize Winners: The Grand Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or overnight mail/email. To be officially declared a Grand Prize winner, he/she must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. This skill-testing question, along with the Declaration of Compliance with Sweepstakes Rules and a Liability and Publicity Release, will be forwarded to the attention of the potential winner by courier promptly following the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted and the skill test administered and correctly answered and returned, along with all other documents, within five (5) business days of the date on the accompanying documents, then the entry will be null and void and another potential winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries and contacted as described above. Prize may be awarded to the individual named on the entry regardless of whether that is the name of the owner of the email address. The Grand Prizes will be delivered to the Hyundai dealership closest to the Grand Prize winner’s home; the Grand Prize winner will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in claiming his/her prize. The winner shall be responsible for all necessary licensing and insurance costs and/or arrangements.

Secondary Prize Winners: The Secondary Prize winners will be notified by mail/email. To be officially declared a Secondary Prize winner, he/she must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. This skill-testing question, along with the Declaration of Compliance with Sweepstakes Rules and a Liability and Publicity Release, will be forwarded to the attention of the potential winner by mail promptly following the draw. The Secondary Prizes will be delivered by ordinary mail to the address provided by the Secondary Prize winners.

All costs and expenses incurred by the winners in claiming or using their prizes (including, without limitation, for Grand Prize winners license, insurance and registration) will be the responsibility of the winners.

PRIZES:

Grand Prize: There are two (2) Grand Prizes. Each Grand Prize consists of one 2003 base Hyundai Tiburon vehicle Odds of winning the Grand Prize will be dependent upon number of eligible entries received. (Approx. Retail Value ("ARV") of delivered vehicle including all applicable taxes $24,600 CDN per car).

Secondary Prizes: Fifty (50) Secondary Prizes of a NBA Prize Pack, consisting of 6 NBA player bobble heads (as selected by NBA Canada) (ARV per Secondary Prize $90 CDN). Odds of winning a Secondary Prize will be dependent upon number of eligible entries received.

PRIZE INFORMATION: The Grand Prizes and Secondary Prizes are not transferable, must be accepted as awarded, and may not be substituted or converted to cash, except by the NBA Entities, as indicated below. The Grand Prizes and Secondary Prizes will only be delivered to a verified winner. The NBA Entities reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater monetary value, whether in cash or otherwise, if a prize cannot be awarded as described. The NBA Entities, however, will not be responsible if factors beyond their reasonable control prevent the Grand Prizes or Secondary Prizes, or any part of the Grand Prizes or Secondary Prizes, from being fulfilled. In any such event, a Grand Prize winner and/or a Secondary Prize winner will not be provided with a substitute or cash equivalent for the Grand Prize or a Secondary Prize, or any such part of the Grand Prize or a Secondary Prize.

RELEASES, ETC.: The Grand Prize claimants and Secondary Prize claimants will be required to sign a Declaration of Compliance with Sweepstakes Rules and a Liability and Publicity Release, releasing the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from any liability in connection with this Sweepstakes and/or the prizes. By accepting or participating in a Grand Prize or a Secondary Prize, a Grand Prize winner and a Secondary Prize winner consents to the use of his/her name, address, voice, statements relating to the Sweepstakes, and photographs or other likenesses, without further compensation or authorization, in any publicity in any form of media (including the Internet) carried out by the Sweepstakes Entities or any related entities in connection with this Sweepstakes.

ERRORS, ETC.: The NBA Entities reserve the right to, without prior notice and at any time, terminate this Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, or modify this Sweepstakes in any way, should any factor interfere with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules. The NBA Entities are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible or garbled entries, mail or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, failed computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic.

MISCELLANEOUS: The Grand Prize winners and the Secondary Prize winners will be required to follow all directions and instructions of the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize organizers or their receipt of their prize may be denied. All decisions of NBA Canada, Inc. are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of the NBA Entities and will not be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants/prize claimants. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws. Void where prohibited. All taxes including, without limitation income and withholding taxes, postal fees and customs duties and other costs not specified in these Rules as included in a prize are the responsibility of the winner.
