Gordan Giricek played three seasons for the Jazz and played in 81 of the 82 games on the season. For the season, Jazz guard Giricek averaged 8.8 points, while shooting .448 percent from the field (.362 percent from three-point range) and .810 from the line (111-137).

He was drafted by Dallas in the second round (40th pick overall) in the 1999 NBA Draft, quickly traded to Memphis, traded by Memphis with Drew Gooden to the Orlando Magic for Mike Miller, Ryan Humphrey and draft picks, and then traded by Orlando to the Utah Jazz for DeShawn Stevenson and a pick.
