Johannesburg, South Africa

Basketball without Borders Africa wrapped up today signaling the end of another very fruitful event; from both a basketball and a human perspective. The afternoon was spent in the gym of the AISJ for the last time as spectators enjoyed the Championship game, a slam dunk contest and two All-Star games; all accompanied with music and giveaways. The day ended with a barbeque, giving the campers the opportunity to exchange contact details and email addresses with their new African friends for the last time before they parted ways.

Edward Bogomin (aged 18) from Kampala, Uganda and Marcus Camby (aged 31) from Hartford, United States - two people with different backgrounds and almost certainly very different futures - both shared the exact same sentiment, ‘This was the best trip of my life.’
