Action Heat Up During BWB Americas Day 3

It was a day of intense competition at the third day of BWB Americas. The morning began with the preliminary round of a camper-wide three point competition, after which the four teams held individual practices and installed their offensive and defensive schemes.

After lunch, the four teams played a round robin tournament of 16-minute games that featured crisp passing, transition offense, shot making, and a few high flying dunks and alley-oops. With the local public and media on-hand, and with each teamsí coaches fighting for wins, there was an intense atmosphere for all the games and the campers responded well. The day concluded with a clinic for the campers led by FIBA coaches and attended by Gersson Rosas (Houston Rockets) and Melvin Hunt (Dallas Mavericks).

The day concluded with a clinic for more than 50 local coaches led by Patrick Hunt (President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches), BWB Americas Camp Director Gersson Rosas (Houston Rockets) and Dallas Mavericks Assistant Coach Melvin Hunt. The campers will return for the final day of BWB Americas 2015 tomorrow, which will culminate in the camper All-Star game.
