2005.06 MGD $1 Million Shot Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Beginning on or about 2/1/06, residents of the state of Illinois who are of legal drinking age may enter to become a Semi-Finalist and compete in the Million Dollar Shot Competition at the United Center on 4/14/06 for an opportunity to win $1,000,000.
2. HERE’S HOW THE MILLION DOLLAR SHOT COMPETITION WORKS: One Semi-Finalist selected from this promotion will compete with up to 18 other Semi-Finalists selected from other Miller Lite Three Point Frenzy promotions for the opportunity to become the Grand Prize Finalist. At a competition, prior to the Chicago Bulls home game at the United Center on 4/14/06, each Semi-Finalist will have an opportunity to score points by shooting basketballs from a pre-determined spot marker on the floor in a set order. All ties will be broken in a basketball shooting competition until one Finalist is determined. The Semi-Finalist who scores the most points will become the Grand Prize Finalist. Only the Grand Prize Finalist will have the opportunity to attempt the Million Dollar Shot.
At a Sponsor-specified time during the Chicago Bulls home game on 4/14/06, the Grand Prize Finalist will have one opportunity to make a ¾ court shot by throwing a regulation-size basketball from the far side of the free-throw line at the opposite end of the court from the basket at which he/she is shooting. Basketball must be released prior to Grand Prize Finalist stepping on/over the ¾ court line. The basketball may not be bounced into the basket. No practice shots permitted. If the shot is successfully completed and the basket is made, Grand Prize Finalist will win the Grand Prize. If the shot is not successfully completed and no basket is made, the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
Judges shall be selected by Sponsor, and all decisions of the judges are final. Participants are subject to all conditions, rules, restrictions and format of the event, including tie breakers, if applicable. Semi-Finalists must attend the game and participate in the basketball shooting competition to be eligible for the Grand Prize. The likelihood of a Semi-Finalist from this promotion becoming the Grand Prize Finalist and the likelihood of the Grand Prize Finalist winning the Grand Prize depends upon his/her basketball ability.
3. TWO WAYS TO ENTER:

Box 5526, Blair, NE 68009-5526. You may mail in as many entries as you wish, but limit one entry per outer-mailing envelope. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Mailed entries must be received by 4/7/06. No purchase is necessary to enter, and a purchase will not increase the odds of winning. Sponsor, the Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago Professional Sports Limited Partnership are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected entries or entries not received in time for the random drawing. All entries become the sole property of Miller Brewing Company and will not be returned.
4. RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing to select the 1 Semi-Finalist from this promotion will be conducted on or about 4/8/06 from among all eligible entries received via Rule #3. The random drawing will be conducted by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Winners will be notified of winning the drawing by phone or mail. Sponsor will make 3 attempts by phone or mail to contact potential winners within 48 hours from the time of winner selection. If Sponsor is unable to reach a potential winner within this timeframe, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected in a random drawing from remaining eligible entries. No messages will be left on answering machines. If a potential semi-finalist indicated “no phone” on his/her entry, he/she will be contacted via overnight mail. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received via Rule #3.
5.
