March 24, 2010 – The Chicago Bulls will honor the Hispanic community by hosting Latin Night, presented by the McDonald’s Hispanic Owner-Operators Association (MHOA), during the Bulls game against the Miami Heat on Thursday, March 25 at the United Center. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
As part of the NBA’s Noche Latina initiative, the Bulls will recognize fans and players across Latin America and U.S. Hispanic communities that evening by wearing specially designed uniforms with “Los Bulls” branding on the team’s red road uniforms.
To further celebrate Latin Night, Latin cultural facts will be featured on the scoreboard throughout the game and other in-arena activities will include traditional Latin dance and music performances during timeouts and halftime.
Additionally, while supplies last, fans entering the arena that evening will receive water bottles with the Bulls and MHOA logos courtesy of the McDonald’s Hispanic Owner-Operators Association.
Noche Latina was first launched during the 2006.07 season to honor the NBA’s Hispanic fan base. This season, Noche Latina will take place in Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, New York and Orlando.
