Head Coach Bill Cartwright on Rose:
"It was a difficult situation for Jalen to come in here with all of the expectations surrounding him. He was almost viewed as a savior-type player and he handled himself really well. He's a guy who really takes care of his body during the offseason and he's missed very few games throughout the course of his entire career.
He came here and was able to lead our guys, in particular down the stretch, and did a really good job in developing the team and the young guys and keeping us together. We'd like to have Jalen around [this summer] as much as possible but at the same time he needs some time off. He'll be around some to keep the young guys moving forward."
