    Chicago Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf issued the following statement on the passing of Bill Wirtz:

    “Bill Wirtz was a giant of a man whose passing leaves a tremendous void in Chicago. It was an honor to have been his partner for over 25 years. He was a person of great integrity, loyalty and generosity.“

    Visitation for Mr. William W. Wirtz will be on Sunday, September 30 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL.

    Funeral service: Monday, October 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Chestnut St., at Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611.

    Interment: Ivanhoe Cemetery in Ivanhoe, IL.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chicago Blackhawk Charities, 1901 W. Madison St., Chicago, IL 60612, or Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Foundation, Inc., 805 15th St. NW, Suite 430, Washington, DC 20005.
