Jannero Pargo Archive:
It’s a big summer for those four guys, not only with regards to possibly being on our team, but for their careers. I think that ultimately, Jannero’s role in the league is to be an off-the-bench shooter/scorer. We liked him and he definitely had a hand in some of our wins that came late in the season.”
Was there a common denominator among that group of four guys?
“We looked at all four of them as hard playing guys who are serious about their jobs and serious about what they are trying to accomplish as players. They are all works-in-progress, but that is what you get when you go to sign guys mid-season. They were all here early, they stayed late, and they worked hard. Those are the kind of guys we’re trying to get.”

"I definitely had it going," Pargo said after the game. "My teammates got me the ball and I was fortunate the ball went down. The other team did not overlook me. Guys in this league have a lot of respect for each other. You don't get in this league because you are not talented. I would definitely rather have the victory. I felt pretty good. You dream of going out and playing freely. Coach did a good job of having confidence in me tonight. I am just glad to have an opportunity to come back and play."
