Donyell Marshall was named Bulls CDW Player of the Month for November it was announced on Saturday. The 6-9 forward is the season’s first winner of the award.
In his first season with the Bulls and ninth NBA season, Marshall averaged 15.6 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 1.31 spg and 1.00 bpg in 31.3 mpg, shooting .467 from the floor, .308 from three-point range and .734 from the free throw line.
The 6-9 forward finished second on the Bulls in scoring, first in rebounding (eighth in the NBA), second in steals and third in minutes. He scored 20 or more points on three occasions and posted two games of 30+ points.
Marshall came off the bench for the first 15 games of the month, before earning his first starting assignment of the season at Dallas on November 30. At Toronto on November 4, he scored a season-high 32 points to accompany a season-best 17 rebounds in 37 minutes off the bench. He also posted a strong effort versus Memphis on November 16, scoring 31 points with 17 rebounds.
