Bulls to host Latin Night on Thursday
The Chicago Bulls will honor the Hispanic community by hosting Latin Night, presented by the McDonald’s Hispanic Owner-Operators Association, during the Bulls game against the Miami Heat on Thursday, March 26 at the United Center. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
As part of the NBA’s Noche Latina initiative, the Bulls will recognize fans and players across Latin America and U.S. Hispanic communities that evening by wearing specially designed uniforms with “Los Bulls” branding on the team’s red road uniforms.
To further celebrate Latin Night, the team’s player introductions will be presented in Spanish and Latin cultural facts will be featured on the scoreboard throughout the game. Other in-arena activities will include traditional Latin dance and music performances during timeouts and halftime as well as a coupon for a Free Small McCafé Mocha for the first 5,000 fans courtesy of the McDonald’s Hispanic Owner-Operators Association.
The Bulls have also partnered with Spanish radio station La Ley (107.9 WLEY-FM) for a promotional ticket giveaway that evening.
Noche Latina was first launched during the 2006.07 season to honor the NBA’s Hispanic fan base. This season, Noche Latina will take place in eight of the top 10 U.S. Hispanic markets: Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, Chicago, Houston and New York.
