Center-Forward Joakim Noah
- Out
- Left foot
- Noah left the team in Atlanta on Feb. 4 and returned Chicago to treat his plantar fasciitis
- He will rest at least through the All-Star break and the earliest he might return would be Feb. 16 vs. the Knicks in Chicago
- Bulls GM Gar Forman said Noah was told to follow this course of action: “He’ll never sit himself down. In talking to him, you could tell it wasn’t getting better. We need to shut him down for a little bit. For four games. At least. It’s going to have a big effect on us, obviously. It will hurt us, but we’ll see what happens. It will be an opportunity for other guys to step up and we feel we have players who can do that.”
- More from Sam Smith: Noah leaves team for treatment
