    "The big thing with Marcus is that he was able to come in and give us a lift off the bench. Marcus is such a unique type of player. He's very talented and the advantage we have with him is that he's a two-position player--he can play either the four (power forward) or the three (small forward). His tallest task this summer is to make sure his body is in very good shape because [his position] is such a grueling spot.

    He played some real big games for us and in the majority of the games that we won, he came up very big, especially late in the year. It's a real advantage for us to have him out there because he's such a problem for other teams to guard."

    At His Best...
    Fizer poured in a career-high 30 points with eight rebounds in only 27 minutes of action in a 105-91 victory over Golden State on 2/23 at the United Center. Fizer came off the bench to shoot 13-of-24 from the field and 4-of-6 from the line.

    Bringing Home the Hardware
    Fizer played for the Gold Medal-winning United States team at the 2001 Goodwill games in Brisbane, Australia, averaging 4.8 points and 3.0 rebounds, shooting .550 from the floor.
