Fizer Brings Home December Honors

A 6-8, 260-pound forward, Fizer averaged 13.1 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 1.2 apg in 23.1 mpg, shooting .510 from the floor in helping the Bulls to a 7-8 mark in December. He reached double figures in scoring on 12 occasions and posted two games of 20+ points. The third-year forward compiled four double-doubles and led the team in rebounding on five occasions and in scoring on two occasions. Fizer raised his scoring average from 5.1 ppg on November 30 to 10.0 ppg on December 31.

Over a stretch of eight games from December 10-23, Fizer helped the Bulls to a 5-3 record averaging 16.9 ppg and 8.9 rpg during that span. On December 16, he led the Bulls to a victory over Boston, scoring 20 points (7-17 FG, 6-9 FT) to accompany a career-high-tying 17 rebounds. Two games later, he scored 21 of his team-high 26 points in the first half and added 12 rebounds and 4 assists in 35 minutes at Indiana.
