Bulls’ 2008 training camp roster set
Two-a-day practice sessions for rookie Derrick Rose and the Bulls began on Tuesday and will continue through Saturday.

September 30, 2008 – In preparation for the 2008.09 NBA season, the Chicago Bulls started training camp on Monday evening with their annual Media Day at the Sheri L. Berto Center (550 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, Ill.).
The team also announced the addition of forward/center Michael Ruffin (6-8 | 248 | 01/21/77 | Tulsa | 8 years experience) to its roster for training camp. Previously, the Bulls added forward/center Elton Brown (6-9 | 250 | 09/15/83 | Virginia | rookie), forward Roger Powell (6-6 | 225 | 01/15/83 | Illinois | 1 yr. exp.), and guard Darius Washington (6-2 | 185 | 12/06/85 | Memphis | 1 yr. exp.) to their preseason roster.
Chicago’s first practice got under way on Tuesday, Sept. 30 with a two-a-day practice session set for 10:00-11:30 a.m., and again from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The two-a-day practice sessions will continue through Saturday, Oct. 4.
The Bulls will tip-off their eight-game preseason schedule on Thursday, Oct. 9 at the United Center when they host the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. Chicago will then travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 10 to take on the Indiana Pacers at 6:00 p.m. (CT).
Other preseason contests include: vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 14), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 17 in Champaign, Ill), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 18), at Dallas Mavericks (Oct. 21), at Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 22) and vs. Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 24). The team will then tip-off the regular season on Oct. 28 at the United Center against Milwaukee.
