Bulls launch 2014 "See Red" playoff campaign

All Bulls fans are encouraged to support the team by wearing red to home games

April 17, 2014 -- The Chicago Bulls have announced the official launch of their 2014 playoff campaign, “SEE RED,” now in its sixth year. The Bulls will take on the Washington Wizards in the first round on Sunday, April 20, at 6 p.m., at the United Center. “SEE RED” is a city-wide initiative and all Bulls fans can show their support for the team by wearing red on all home game days. The Bulls will undertake a number of activities to build excitement and momentum throughout the team’s playoff run.

Bulls.com and all Bulls social media platforms will incorporate the “SEE RED” theme. Fans can participate in the campaign by sharing photos of themselves wearing red and tagging supportive tweets and Instagram photos with #SeeRed. Select fan photos will be featured on Bulls.com/SeeRed. The Bulls mobile app will also incorporate playoff-themed content with updates coming soon.

On home game nights, fans will be greeted by the Incredibulls, a pop-up Bull Market store and “SEE RED” festivities outside of Gate 3 ½ at the United Center. The team will bring the campaign to life inside the United Center by turning the arena and in-game elements red, including the concourses, scoreboard graphics, lighting, digital signage and special video features. Members of the Bulls Entertainment Network and other entertainers will also incorporate the “SEE RED” theme into their performances.

Partners from across the city have been invited to join “SEE RED.” For example, the Shedd Aquarium’s divers, trainers and animals will incorporate the theme into special activities during the playoffs. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois will also celebrate the campaign by spelling out “Bulls See Red” with lights on their downtown office building from Friday, April 18 through Monday, April 21.

At Sunday’s home matchup, fans entering the stadium will receive a flashlight keychain presented by McDonald’s. BMO Harris Bank, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and Magellan will present “SEE RED” sunglasses for Tuesday’s home game. Giveaways are provided while supplies last.

Fans can shop for “SEE RED” gear at the Bull Market during games at the United Center where there will be a 10% discount on select red items. Fans can also visit shop.bulls.com for 10% off select Bulls items online.

Tickets for the first two rounds of the 2014 playoffs are on sale now and can be purchased at Bulls.com, the United Center and 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
