Bulls' Deng announces "Game and Give" Tournament

March 21, 2011 - Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng is pleased to announce the 2011 Luol Deng Foundation “Game and Give” Tournament, taking place April 3, 2011 from 12-4 p.m. at Joy of the Game located at 158 South Waukegan Road in Deerfield, IL.

The "Game and Give" Tournament is a charity video game tournament featuring two all-age XBOX competitions. Tournament participants will get the unique opportunity to play against Luol Deng and his teammates while competing for an assortment of grand prizes. In addition, the event will feature inflatable interactives, an appearance by Benny the Bull, surprise musical guest, delicious food, silent auction, and photo opportunities with Deng and current Bull players. Popular Chicago DJ Sye Young will provide music entertainment. All proceeds from “Game and Give” will benefit the Luol Deng Foundation.

"Hosting this event is really exciting for me as it's a great way for people to participate in something fun while helping others. Even if you're not into video games, it’s going to be a great day to be a part of. I’m looking forward to challenging many people and seeing all the fans there,” says Deng.

The Luol Deng Foundation is a non-profit organization bringing hope to people by improving lives through the tools of sport and education.
