Bulls to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with special uniforms on March 17

March 13, 2014 -- The Chicago Bulls will host the team’s annual St. Patrick’s Day game featuring special-edition uniforms on Monday, March 17, when they play the Oklahoma City Thunder at the United Center.

As part of the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s ninth annual celebration, the Bulls will wear all-new St. Patrick’s Day uniforms featuring green jerseys and shorts designed by adidas. Lettering and numbers are white with gold borders while the Chicago Bulls logo remains in its traditional black and red colors.

During Monday’s matchup, there will be pre-game performances by Jonas Friddle Band and the Partyhardigans throughout the concourse and 12-year old Sheridan Archibold will open the game with a performance of the National Anthem. Irish-themed scoreboard videos, music and other in-game elements will be incorporated, including a halftime show by Trinity Irish Dancers.

The Bulls invite their fans to join the festivities by wearing green to Monday’s game. Benny the Bull and other Bulls entertainers will be dressed in festive St. Patrick’s Day attire.
