2012 Hall of Fame: Bulls congratulate Sam Smith (Curt Gowdy Media Award) and Chet Walker (HOF inductee)
Sam Smith, the long-time NBA writer for the Chicago Tribune, receives the Gowdy Media Award, named in honor of the legendary sports broadcaster and former Hall of Fame Board member and President, the late Curt Gowdy. Chet Walker was selected by the Veterans Committee for enshrinement into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of its Class of 2012.
