Get to know the 2009.10 Chicago Luvabulls!

The Luvabulls completed auditions for the 2009.10 team on Aug. 5, at the University of Illinois at Chicago Flames Athletic Center. Approximately 270 women were invited to audition for a panel of judges on Aug. 1 and 46 were chosen to attend a mini-camp the following week. Upon conclusion of the mini-camp, 24 candidates were selected to entertain Bulls fans at the United Center and represent the city of Chicago across the U.S. and abroad.

Over the last two seasons, a member of the Chicago Luvabulls has claimed Miss Illinois USA honors. With the selection of the 2009.10 team in August, the Luvabulls now have the reigning Miss Chicago on their team too. A trained dancer and award-winning playwright, Imani Josey won the coveted title of Miss Chicago on March 28, 2009. Shortly following that success, she went on to place as a Top Ten Finalist at the Miss Illinois Scholarship Pageant 2009, a Miss America Pageant preliminary.

For the second year in a row, a member of the Luvabulls has taken the title of Miss Illinois USA. On Dec. 7, Ashley Bond was named Miss Illinois USA and she was presented the honor by last year’s titleholder and Luvabulls teammate, Shanon Lersch. In their 31st season, the Chicago Luvabulls are synonymous with talent and beauty, glamour and glitz, as well as hard work, dedication and commitment.

This season's Luvabulls poster, sponsored by Bud Light, was given away to fans 21 and over on Dec. 5 at the United Center, prior to the Bulls' home game versus the Toronto Raptors.

The Luvabulls are on hand at all of the Bulls home games, dazzling the crowds at the United Center. This group of beautiful, talented and articulate women also makes numerous personal appearances at conventions, trade shows, sales meetings, promotional events and charitable events around the country. They have travelled frequently to Europe appearing at international basketball tournaments in Holland, England and France.

The Luvabulls are one of the most recognized dance teams in sports. Members of the team also represent the club at a number of special events throughout the year including private and corporate parties, award banquets, charity events and promotional engagements.

Luvabulls must be at least twenty-one years old and have full-time employment or be full-time students. Dance ability is essential and high school or college dance or cheerleading experience is helpful. Selections to the group are made based on appearance, personality and dance ability. Rehearsals are held two evenings per week.

The Luvabulls are available for personal appearances any time during the year. They frequently appear at trade shows, conventions, marketing meetings, sales promotion events, private parties, company events, golf outings, charity fundraisers and more. If you are looking to add excitement and glamour to your event, you should consider having the Chicago Luvabulls at your event.

• Appearance rate is $90 per hour per Luvabull for corporate events and private parties.
• Appearance rate for charity events vary depending on location and time required.
• Appearance rate for a show (dance routine performance) is $3,500. These shows typically include 8 to 10 Luvabulls performing a five-seven minute dance routine and autograph session or other interaction with the audience.

All appearances are coordinated by C.C. Company of Illinois, Inc. and are subject to the availability of the Luvabulls. The Luvabulls are available for appearances on game nights.

In addition to the above performance fees, travel fees may apply if the appearance is outside the city limits of Chicago and all appearances are subject to an agency commission. Upon acceptance of your appearance, you will receive a contract and all payments must be made prior to the appearance as specified in the contract.

Watch the Junior Luvabulls perform at Chicago Bulls home games on the court at the United Center and perform all throughout the Chicagoland area. The Junior Luvabulls program goals include:

Please note that tickets are subject to availability and due to high demand, we encourage you to fax or mail this completed form as soon as possible. Tickets will sell out fast!
