Being a member of the Luvabulls means being part of something bigger than I’ve ever been a part of before. I am fortunate enough to be in my 5th year on the squad, and it has shaped me into the person I am today. Performing is in my blood, and dancing on this level has given me the opportunity to keep up with that passion, while being surrounded with truly amazing, well-rounded women I am proud to call my friends. I love the city of Chicago, and being involved with the Chicago Bulls is the icing on the cake!
I love to sing and have been recorded on a few albums!
I’ll admit that dancing sort of found me. While I was a cheerleader in high school, I was always more involved with music and musical theatre throughout my life and through college. After I finished my undergrad, I moved to Chicago with high hopes to continue performing in some capacity. I was introduced to professional dance as a member of the Chicago Shamrox Dance Team, a professional lacrosse team. Immediately I was hooked! I decided to aim my sights high and audition for the Chicago Luvabulls, and here I am 5 years later and still loving it!
Performing at a Bulls playoff game can be summed up in one word – unreal! The kind of heart pounding excitement and energy the city of Chicago gives off is truly inspiring, and reminds me that I am part of a world famous NBA team that has the best fans in the league! When someone asks me 10 years from now, remember that Bulls playoff series? I can say – you bet I do! I had a courtside seat and was part of all the action!
I work as a Marketing and Communications coordinator for a global company where I work on executing internal communication plans and marketing events. It involves being creative, organized, and thinking outside of the box – all things I love!
I think my proudest accomplishment to date is the simply the sum of all my life’s current parts. I don’t think I could ever not be wearing multiple hats or stirring many pots at once… but when I look at what I’ve done in my career, personally, and with the Luvabulls, it’s all worth it and something I am very proud of! In 10 years I would hope that I am married with a happy family, and performing is somehow still involved in my life.
I have a great admiration for my entire family, especially my parents, who are always proud of my accomplishments and support me in all of my ventures!
