What does being a member of the Luvabulls mean to you?
Being a member of the Luvabulls has always been a dream of mine. The Luvabulls consist of a team of women who are intelligent, caring, talented, beautiful, and uplifting. To be included in this team has been an honor and I cherish this opportunity.
How has your dancing experience led you to this point?
My dancing experience began when I was three years old. I have studied many different types of dance and have always loved to perform. I love sports and I have a special soft spot for the Bulls, so everything just fell into place when I found the audition date online. I immediately knew I would just have to audition and see what happened.
What is your claim to fame—besides being a Luvabull?
My claim to fame would probably have to be moving to Chicago from Cedar Rapids.
What do you do for a living?
I am a sales associate and a bartender.
Describe the feeling of hearing your number called at tryouts as you made the Luvabulls.
When my number was called on the last day of the audition, I swear my heart stopped. I couldn’t believe that my number had been called. I had to ask several people before realizing that I was really supposed to be in that last group of women screaming and crying. I was so happy and excited that I could barely breathe.
What people do you admire the most and how have they supported or inspired you as a dancer?
I think the people that I admire most are my family and friends. They have always encouraged me to pursue my dream of being a dancer and have supported me at every dance performance. I love them more than any one could ever know for that.
What is your proudest accomplishment to date and where do you see yourself in 10 years?
My proudest accomplishment would have to be moving to Chicago with just the hope of making the Luvabulls and achieving my dreams of being a dancer. It is all I have ever wanted and I get to live that dream every day. In ten years, I expect to own a successful dance studio and be at every Bulls game possible!
